Department: Engineering Location: Plant SidoarjoJob Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Section Head to lead and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery. This role ensures timely, high-quality, and efficient maintenance execution in accordance with engineering SOPs and work instructions. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, lead a team of operators, and collaborate across departments to support manufacturing excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. Lead and supervise maintenance operations to ensure optimal machine performance. Analyze technical and non-technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with related departments to resolve operational challenges. Monitor team performance and provide coaching and development. Ensure compliance with documentation, reporting, and safety standards. Prepare monthly reports and manage spare part requirements.Job Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Diploma (D4) or bachelor's degree in engineering. 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance management or general engineering, preferably in plastic bottle manufacturing. Proven experience in leading a team is an advantage. Additional Requirements: Willing to be based in Sidoarjo, East Java. Open to working 6 days per week. Initial employment will be on a contract basis, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of production machinery and maintenance systems. Familiar in MS Office and SAP (related transactions). Proficient in English (written and spoken) will be a plus Managerial & Soft Skills: Leadership and team management. Strategic planning and performance evaluation. Coaching and counseling. Time management and problem-solving. Negotiation and presentation skills. Knowledge Requirements: Organizational and industry knowledge. Familiarity with GMP, SHE, ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, and BRC IoP standards.
