Job Description:
Job description (heading) / Description du poste (titre)
- Assist in new product development set up in the Policy Administration System (PAS) and Accounting Sub Ledger
- Involve in month end closing and ensure the completeness of product related data feed and accounting entries.
- Responsible in overseeing reconciliation balance between the Policy Administration System and SAP ledger
- Work closely with IT and Operation for any remediation required for IFRS 17
- Assist in preparing UAT and involve in UAT sign off process
- Work closely with other Finance Team in finance process alignment to IFR
Preferred skills (heading) / Compétences particulières (titre)
- Having experience in accounting system (SUN GL and SAP) and Policy Administration System(PAS)
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Proficient in MS Excel
Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)
- Having 3 years working experience in Life Insurance industry
- Min Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Excellent understanding of PSAK and IFRS
- Having knowledge in life insurance product and related process flow
- Good communication skill
- Adopt fast to new environment and experienced in handling multiple projects
Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)
- Record monthly accrual and prepaid journals
- Record reserve and reinsurance journals
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for general accounts on timely basis
- Prepare product accounting journals and reconciliation for SLFI
