We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Engineering team (Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Completion Engineering). This internship offers a valuable opportunity for active students to gain hands-on experience in the fabrication processes within a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:
Production Engineer: Support construction project execution for Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy production facilities, covering all construction discipline: Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom.
Industrial Engineer: Assist in implementing industrial engineering processes for efficient fabrication yard operations.
Assist in analyzing and improving fabrication yard processes to enhance productivity, safety, and material flow efficiency.
Support time study, layout optimization, work sequence planning, and resource utilization analysis to achieve cost-effective operations.
Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase overall yard performance and reduce waste.
Completion Engineer:
Support activities related to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (PCC), including system walkdown, mechanical completion, and documentation.
Assist in managing Permit to Work (PTW) coordination, SIMOPS monitoring, and energy isolation (LOTO) implementation to ensure safe and efficient integration between construction and commissioning phases.
Learn how to review test packages, punch lists, and system handover procedures from fabrication to commissioning.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Active student currently enrolled in D4/S1 programs, majoring in:
- Production Engineering : Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering and Physics Engineering
- Industrial Engineering : Industrial Engineering.
- Completion Engineering : Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering.
This Internship opportunities are available at McDermott Batam for a duration of 2 to 4 months, starting in November or December 2025.
Applicants should not be participating in another internship program.
Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions.
