Deskripsi Lowongan Kerja Maintenance Staff Padang TerbaruAloita Resort is a boutique eco-resort located in the Mentawai Islands, West Sumatra, Indonesia. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resort Engineer to oversee the technical operations, infrastructure, and mechanical systems of the resort, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all engineering and technical systems at the resort including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and water systems
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all resort infrastructure and equipment
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team in day-to-day technical operations
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults and engineering issues
- Manage and maintain diesel generators, water pumps, solar systems, and marine/dock infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs and procurement
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment inventories
- Prepare technical reports and assist management in capital expenditure planning
- Respond to emergency technical issues at any time
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in hospitality, resort, or marine environments
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical certification)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, diesel generators, and water treatment
- Experience with solar energy systems is an advantage
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to live and work in a remote island location (live-in position)
- Good communication skills in Indonesian; English is a plus
- Willingness to be on-call for emergencies

This is a live-in position at our resort in the Mentawai Islands. Transportation to/from the island is provided by the resort.
