Deskripsi Lowongan Kerja Restaurant Server Denpasar TerbaruSupporting senior chefs by preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, measuring), handling deliveries, managing stock rotation, cleaning workstations, and learning basic cooking techniques, all while maintaining strict food safety (HACCP) and hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They assist with mise en place, learn culinary fundamentals, and execute tasks under supervision, with duties varying by kitchen size and specialty, often including weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping fruits/vegetables; seasoning and preparing meats/fish; making basic sauces/salads.
- Ingredient Management: Unpacking deliveries, storing food correctly, rotating stock (FIFO), and discarding expired items.
- Station Maintenance: Daily cleaning, sterilizing equipment, ensuring workstations are stocked and organized.
- Kitchen Support: Assisting Section Chefs (Chef de Partie) and other chefs with various cooking and plating tasks.
- Food Safety: Following HACCP, COSHH, and general hygiene regulations.
- Learning & Development: Continuously improving culinary skills and knowledge.
Typical Requirements & Skills
- Basic cooking skills and culinary fundamentals.
- Knowledge of food handling and kitchen equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Basic education (GCSEs/A-Levels), with NVQ or Food Hygiene certification often preferred.
Work Environment
