About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join a growing international SaaS company. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll split your time between software development and leading a talented engineering team. You’ll play a key role in modernizing a legacy platform, driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Contribute to software development while providing technical leadership.
- Drive the modernization and migration of legacy systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Leadership to deliver scalable solutions.
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes.
- Support hiring, coaching, and performance development within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
- Strong backend development experience with one or more of the following: PHP, Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or C#.
- Experience leading legacy system modernization or platform migration projects.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable applications.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Previous experience working in a remote, international environment is an advantage.
