This is a project based position and is a project-based fee.
We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to oversee the design and development of our website. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, a passion for design and creating strong user experiences, and proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Come up with the UX/UI, create wireframes and user flows that enhance the overall user experience.
- Implement custom themes and plugins to extend WordPress functionality.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security best practices.
- Utilize version control systems like GitHub for code management.
- Work with databases such as MySQL for data storage solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services using RESTful or SOAP protocols.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in web development technologies.
Experience
- Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience with server management tools like Docker, Git
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools is a plus.
- Understanding of system architecture principles and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of web design principles including responsive design practices.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python is beneficial
