Smardt is synonymous with Turbocor Chillers, having brought the first Turbocor chiller to market in early 2002.
Smardt Group is producing, as of 2020, in 6 factories worldwide, and with over 8,000 deployed chillers, is still the global leader in magnetic bearing chiller technology.
For the Indonesian market, our magnetic- bearing OIL-FREE chillers are manufactured under the highest quality standards in Australia, or any of our other 5 factories according to client's preference.
SMARDT stands for extraordinary expertise & innovation, and we were the first ones to bring this innovative chiller machine to market, globally, and now in Indonesia in 2011.
Responsibilities:
Perform chiller installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), Fan Wall Units (FWUs), Cooling Towers (CTs), Heat Pumps (HPs), refrigerant recovery, and more
Conduct routine corrective and preventative maintenance, such as vacuuming the components & refrigerant handling; followed with carrying out Test Comps
Diagnose, identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions on chiller systems and chiller components
Adheres and implement safety procedures (K3 - Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja)
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute chiller system installation and upgrade projects

We are presently looking for an experienced and committed HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Batam team and contribute to our unwavering pursuit of excellence.
Requirements
Lives in Batam or willing to relocate to Batam
Ability to read, write and speak in English is mandatory. At least Basic to Intermediary level is required
Minimum 2 years of experience as HVAC Chiller technician
Flexibility to work on dynamic working scheme (Standard or Hybrid)
In-depth knowledge of refrigerant types, chiller and compressor types, including their components, controls, and operations
Completion of an accredited HVAC program is preferred ( BNSP Certification of Teknisi AC Central & Chiller or similar)
