Guy Carpenter is a brand of Marsh Indonesia. Guy Carpenter is actively seeking qualified candidates to lead their new facultative reinsurance business operations in Indonesia, through a new Guy Carpenter business division to be established within Marsh Indonesia.
Senior Vice President, Facultative Leader, Indonesia
What can you expect:
Manage all aspects of new, renewal and prospective business for property facultative including the marketing and solicitation of accounts and the preparation/ presentation of research, financial analysis, placements and formal documentation execution.
POSITION SCOPE
We will count on you to:
- Produce and manage business development and revenue generation for the property facultative business in Indonesia.
- Lead and manage relationships with reinsurance markets.
- Develop and present new/ renewal/ prospective presentation to clients and reinsurers.
- Produce new clients and design programs for them, establish relationship through meetings and exhibit professional skills.
- Support the best broking practice, which includes client proposal, presentation, market submission and execution etc.
- Work with other brokers, technical support and placement teams to ensure a full quality process of the business.
- Make sure the business operations and documentation are conducted according to compliance and professional standards.
- Liaise with Guy Carpenter’s global network in obtaining expertise and support.
- Providing technical training to clients and colleagues.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in the property facultative space, with a focus on the reinsurance sector.
- Strong experience in facultative markets, particularly in the Indonesia.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as insurance, risk management or related discipline.
- Customer-focused with strong sales drive. Self-motivated and excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Well-connected in the market with existing relationships with local insurers.
- Commercially astute and strong business sense.
- Strong client orientation mindset with a proven track record in delivering exceptional service to clients.
- Experience in team leadership, including growing, managing and mentoring a team.
- Proven ability to manage and network in a multicultural environment. Strong gravitas and presence to influence and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficient MS office skills. Able to leverage a range of digital tools and technology to its maximum potential.
