Muse Storytelling is building something unprecedented in Bali: a creative hub where local talent powers global storytelling education and production. We're expanding rapidly, and we need Virtual Assistants who understand that "administrative support" is just another way of saying "operational excellence that makes magic possible."
What This Actually Means
You won't just be managing tasks, you'll be the infrastructure that allows storytellers to tell stories. The systems that let creators create. The precision that turns creative chaos into meaningful impact.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments across multiple time zones (Pacific/Eastern US) with the kind of precision that means nobody ever misses what matters
- Handle email correspondence and client communications that sound human, professional, and actually helpful
- Organize digital files, project documentation, and databases so that finding what you need takes seconds, not hours
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and team communications across projects. Being the person who knows where everything is and what happens next.
- Support research, data entry, and report preparation that turns information into insight
- Coordinate virtual meetings, workshops, and creative sessions across continents
- Archive materials and manage digital asset libraries with the understanding that today's project becomes tomorrow's reference
- Provide customer service to clients and community members with genuine care and responsiveness
- Adapt to whatever the day brings- because in a creative production company, "typical day" is a myth

What We're Actually Looking For
- 1–3 years of administrative, virtual assistant, or project coordination experience that shows you can handle the complexity and pace of supporting creative operations
- Fluent English communication skills—written and verbal—that demonstrate clarity, professionalism, and personality
- Proven ability to work with creative teams, production companies, or educational organizations (preferred)
- Experience working remotely with international teams - bonus points if you've navigated time zone coordination without losing your mind
- Familiarity with AI tools and productivity technology is a significant plus—we're a forward-thinking team that embraces innovation
- Background in storytelling, media, education, or creative industries is valuable, but organizational genius and communication excellence matter more than industry experience
The Setup
- Location: Bali, Indonesia (Required) — This is a full-time, in-person position at our Bali office (8 hours per day)
- Schedule: Flexible within full-time hours, with 5-8 hours (at least) overlap with US Pacific/Eastern time zones for team collaboration
- Job Type: Full-time contract (40 hours per week)
- Pay: Competitive rate based on experience (discussed during interview process)
