This role will operate as part of the Delivery Systems Team Asia (DST), reporting to the Senior Engineering projects and Asset manager Manager located in the Balikpapan or Jakarta office. The DST position is supported by REs and design resources. This roll is responsible for the delivery and execution of the delivery system build schedule across Asia. As the DST Manager, you will lead a team of project leads and project specialists across Asia.
This role involves creating and maintaining a detailed weekly project plan, including all project activities, resources, goals, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, and technical requirements. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, from scoping through to embedding. This includes tracking project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements, and comply with project management methodologies and standards. As a manager, you will be expected to run a team and carry out performance reviews.

- Creates and maintains a detailed project plan including all project activities, resources, goals, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, functional and technical requirements
- Manages the end to end delivery of projects from scoping through to embedding
- Tracks project progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with project management methodologies and standards
- Performs regular project reporting including reporting on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, team, stakeholders and benefits
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all project activities
- Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained
- Conducts status report meetings with key stakeholders and address issues/risks in an effective and timely manner
What we offer
- Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
- Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
- Technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
