Plant Operation Manager responsible to plan, manage and control the optimal execution of manufacturing operation in respective Plant Facility to produce saleable products in line with production planning & meet quality standard, maintain assets & machinery, optimum resources utilization, ensure optimal waste management process, and within Quality & SHE regulations and according to planning in order to shape the conditions for an uninterrupted, effective and efficient production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Operation: Manage, control, and evaluate the execution of the production processes, in line with the production planning, in such a way that the production orders from production planning are completed timely, within specifications. With minimum risk (community, quality, safety & people) and in an effective and efficient way
- Assets Management: Manage, control and evaluate the maintenance operation system & assets management (Incl. Develop strategy & plan, Maintenance System, Budget, Maintenance Implementation, Overhaul, Utility & facility, Maintenance reliability, spare part inventory and Engineering Project), to ensure the effective and efficient execution of maintenance system, equipment installation to contribute an uninterrupted, effective and efficient production process.
- Quality Assurance & Food safety: Implement the quality policies, standards and quality control measurements within manufacturing operations to ensure process and products at the level of quality standards (TCCC and Government) from material preparation, during and after production process and waste management meet the required quality specifications at a minimum of costs.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS): take responsibility for providing and managing a work environment that is safe and without risk to health by implementing OHS policy, plans, procedures as the Standard required with capable resources.
- Cost Management: Setting and Managing the annual operations budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the Business Plan, conversion c
- People Management: Plan the workforce & manage implementation as per budget. Ensure capability of the team to productively contribute in achieving business goals and for sustainable organization, as well to manage employee engagement.
- Performance Management & Continues Improvement: Analyse trend of performance and develop and/or work on the long-term, mid-term and short-term strategy of Manufacturing Operations to achieve target with the highest possible productivity and efficiency by implementing lean concept in the operation and/or section to solve operation’s problems/issues, reduce waste, drive cost saving and improved business processes
Qualifications
- Min. bachelor’s degree from Engineering or any related discipline
- 8 – 10 years in FMCG Company, preferable from Beverage or Food industry with 3 - 4 years’ experience as Plant Manager or similar role.
- Fluent in English
- Strong Leadership to manage big team.
- Good communication & people management.
