We are looking for a skilled and creative individual to join our team and manage the editing and design of WordPress websites for a variety of clients.Position Overview:
As a WordPress Website Editor & Designer, you will be responsible for updating, customizing, and designing WordPress websites to meet client specifications. You will need to ensure that each site is functional, visually appealing, and optimized for user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress, web design principles, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and design WordPress websites, including themes and plugins, to meet client needs.
- Customize website layouts, graphics, and content to ensure cohesive design and branding.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, or performance problems.
- Implement client requests for updates or revisions efficiently and accurately.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, themes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure proper placement and styling of text, images, and media.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with WordPress website design and development.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of PHP for customizations.
- Familiarity with JavaScript for interactive features is a plus.
- Proficiency in using page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- SEO knowledge and ability to optimize websites for search engines.
- Experience with website performance optimization and best practices (e.g., reducing load times, compressing images).
- Basic understanding of website security for maintaining safe and secure WordPress sites.
- Strong eye for design and layout with attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues quickly.
- Version control experience (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools like Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
Requirements:
- Portfolio showcasing WordPress websites you have designed and edited.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time remote position with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).How to Apply:
