Superintendent, Business Support

(Third Party Contractor)

Jakarta, Indonesia


Role Purpose

Responsible for leading and overseeing all general services and business support functions, including facilities management, accommodation, transportation, office services, and business process support.

The role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective support services that enable business continuity and operational excellence, in alignment with corporate strategy, HSSE standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Business Support & General Services Operations

  • Lead and manage daily business support operations including facilities, accommodation, transportation, office services, and administrative support.
  • Ensure service delivery meets operational needs, quality standards, and agreed service levels.
  • Coordinate internal and external service providers to ensure effective and compliant operations.

Strategy Implementation & Governance

  • Support implementation of business support strategies, policies, and procedures in line with corporate and BU direction.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, corporate standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to VP HC & Business Support.

Business Process Improvement

  • Review, map, and enhance business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Support implementation of approved improvement initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Provide performance data and insights to support decision-making.

Cost Management & Budget Control

  • Support preparation, monitoring, and control of business support budgets.
  • Ensure cost optimization while maintaining service quality and compliance.
  • Monitor vendor performance and contract adherence.

Facilities, Office & Service Management

  • Oversee office facilities, utilities, accommodation, transportation, and related services.
  • Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with HSSE and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate visitor management, inter-office logistics, and support services.
  • Employee Welfare, Clubs & Engagement Activities
  • Support planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives including sports, social, religious, and community activities.
  • Ensure activities are delivered within approved budgets and aligned with company values.

Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness

  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response coordination.
  • Ensure readiness to maintain operations during disruptions.
  • Advisory, Coordination & External Engagement
  • Provide advisory and coordination support for community investment and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in managing permits and non-technical regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as SKK Migas, MIGAS, contractors, and service providers.

HSSE Commitment

  • Comply with all HSSE policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and actively participate in HSSE programs.
  • Support achievement of HSSE objectives and KPIs.


Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

Education

Bachelors degree in management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Min. 8–10 years of experience in business support, general services, facilities management, or operations.
  • Strong exposure to oil & gas, energy, or large corporate environments is preferred.

Competencies & Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management capability.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, vendor and contract management, and budget control.
  • Solid understanding of HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
