Explore the structural heart of hospitality through an Engineering Internship – Civil Section at Grand Hyatt Bali! As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support the daily maintenance and improvement of the hotel's infrastructure, including pathways, walls, drainage systems, and overall building conditions.
Your main mission? To contribute to distinctive guest experiences by helping ensure our facilities are safe, strong, and well-maintained. You will assist in inspections, routine maintenance, minor repair works, and civil-related documentation. You'll also learn how our engineering team collaborates with other departments to maintain the physical beauty and functionality of a 5-star resort environment.
This internship is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in the field while building real-world experience in hospitality facilities. You'll enjoy a personalised learning journey, guided by your mentor (Learning and Development Manager), coach (Civil Engineering Leader), and buddy (an Engineering team member). Additionally, you'll be involved in employee activities, volunteer projects, technical assignments, the employee club, and many more opportunities!
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated (within the past year) from a D1, D2, D3, D4, or S1 program in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or related major.
- Interested in building maintenance, repairs, construction, and infrastructure support.
- Strong attention to detail, willing to work both on-site and on administrative tasks.
- Familiar with basic tools, technical drawings, and willing to learn hotel systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; CAD knowledge is a plus.
- Responsible, collaborative, and able to work in a structured environment.
- Confident in basic English communication (verbal and written).
- Willing to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months.
- Committed to supporting distinctive guest experiences through safe and well-maintained facilities
