Deskripsi Lowongan Kerja B3 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Certified Jakarta TerbaruWe’re seeking an experienced B3 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Maldives. This is a hands-on certifying role supporting piston-engine, non-pressurized airplanes (≤ 2,000 kg MTOM), with responsibility for inspections, simple avionics checks, release-to-service certification and close coordination with team.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform and certify all maintenance tasks, carry out simple avionic functional checks as part of B3 privileges
· Issue Certificates of Release to Service within B3 privileges.
· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and support continuing airworthiness activities.
· Liaise with MCAR-compliant organizations, provide technical input for audits and safety reporting as per Maldives CAA Rules.
· Assist with spare-parts planning and troubleshooting (within B3 scope).
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Hold a recognized B3 Aircraft Maintenance OR be eligible / willing to obtain an MCAR-66 B3 licence.
· Minimum relevant experience working on piston-engine, non-pressurized airplanes.
· Strong familiarity with maintenance documentation, release-to-service procedures and regulatory compliance (MCAR-145/MCAR-66/MCAR-M or EASA Equivalent).
· Good English communication skills and ability to work in a small, dynamic team.
· Valid medical/other checks as per Maldives requirements. Eligibility — Important Regulatory Note (Maldives)
The Maldives issues/maintains licenses under MCAR-66 (Certifying Staff)
The Maldives CAA does not “convert” foreign maintenance licences automatically. Candidates should be prepared to satisfy MCAR-66 requirements to obtain a Maldivian licence.
Applicants who already hold foreign Part-66/EASA or other ICAO-state licences should expect either:
· Apply for a validation (CAD Form 19V) - verification of foreign licence, pass Module 10, IELTS Score 5.5 or above may be required (ASC 66-1); or
· Apply for an MCAR-66 licence via MCAR-66 examinations and experience verification (CAD Form 19). Maldives CAA also accepts, for the purpose of issuing a Maldivian Aircraft Maintenance License, Part-147 aircraft maintenance courses conducted by a school approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) or Sri Lankan Technical Training Centre, Katunayake, Sri Lanka.
