About the department
The GLP-1 Sales team in Novo Nordisk Indonesia consists of highly driven people who are passionate about changing diabetes and in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders. We educate our customers on our products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty and business ethic. We focus on execution, leadership, trust and accountability and strive to be a high performing team. We are proud of our company heritage, our life-changing products, and the difference we make.
The position
As a Product Specialist, you are the frontline interface with healthcare professionals to discuss the benefits and features of Novo Nordisk’s products. You have a designated territory where you oversee both financial and non-financial targets. Other role tasks are as follows but is not limited to:
- Conducting a territory business plan, suggesting and discussing relevant action plans with your manager, and implementing the action plan in collaboration with marketing and colleagues within the function to drive the overall financial and non-financial performance of your assigned territory.
- Maintaining up-to-date information on customers and the market landscape and reporting all the information into the company’s system on time.
- Actively participating in exhibitions, symposiums, and congresses as needed to drive high awareness of disease management and knowledge of products among healthcare professionals and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Hold a minimum an associate’s degree with strong interest in Sales.
- Experience in Sales at a Pharmaceutical company (preferable in Multinational Company) with minimum 2 years of experiences and knowledgeable in private market in Solo.
- Knowledgeable about products that require a strong conceptual understanding (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular) and can effectively present these products to stakeholders. Expertise in these areas is advantageous.
- Have strong ethical conduct sense, high degree of self-driven with a desire to influence.
