Department Business Development and Partnerships LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor) LocationIndonesia - JakartaThe Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:Requirements:
- Develop ideas and proposals to potential acquisition targets through pitching
- Construct strategic business plans and identify new sources of growth by identifying market gaps and opportunities in High SES (Socio Economic Status) field
- Negotiate deals with potential acquisition targets
- Tracking the progress of each potential acquisition targets until onboarding
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in brand or acquisition
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written)
- Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using Ms Excel
- Experience in e-commerce industry would be an added advantage
- Highly motivated and logical thinker with strong problem solving skills
