BoltBlue is on the hunt for a Front-End Web Developer to become an integral part of our web implementation team. You'll not only be involved in the strategy of our websites but also be the mastermind behind their implementation. And guess what? You can do all this while enjoying flexible remote work in our fun and driven team.
As a Front-End Web Developer at BoltBlue, you'll:
- Build high-converting websites using WordPress and Elementor
- Work closely with our strategy, paid, and web teams to deliver integrated digital solutions
- Maintain BoltBlue's high standards of work as you grow your client list and team
- Embrace our simple approach to business success - building marketing systems that deliver a heap of quality leads
What we're looking for in our new team member:
- 2+ years of website design experience
- 1+ years using Elementor Page Builder
- Broad internet and web technology experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive layouts
- Sufficient knowledge of PHP, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Proficiency in Adobe suite of products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
- General SEO knowledge
- Digital marketing experience (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Ads, SEO, Facebook suite of products, etc)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Common sense and good critical judgment
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong business acumen
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Using WP-Engine to host websites, set up new websites, migrate existing ones, and more
- Designing and developing new websites using WordPress and Elementor
- Implementing changes and feature requests on client websites
- Editing and optimizing existing client websites
- Optimizing and deploying websites (built elsewhere) that migrate hosting to WP-Engine
- Participating in managing the hosting upkeep of existing client websites (resource allocation, backups, security governance, updating website CMS databases, server PHP, plugins, etc)
- Demonstrating effective team management skills
