British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an Export-Import Superintendent in Malang

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee import and export (EXIM) operations to ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.
- Review and validate shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper application of HS classification, incoterms, and customs requirements in all transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., customs brokers, authorities) to ensure smooth clearance processes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify risks and implement improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation records for regulatory and internal review.
- Provide guidance and support to the team on customs regulations and best practices.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs, import/export, or trade compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, incoterms, and customs processes.
- Good understanding of HS classification and customs documentation requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with trade management systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Certification such as PPJK (Customs Broker License) or equivalent is a plus.
