About the role

You will be responsible for driving all hotel sales efforts for the new hotel, as well as overseeing, energizing and motivating the sales department. You are a key part of the management team and will report directly to the General Manager and Group Director of Sales.


About you

Your role will focus on obtaining, managing and maintaining key accounts with the ability to source & procure business, establish effective relationships, qualify opportunities, - FIT, groups, conference and event leads. You will tailor winning proposals and conduct effective negotiations to ensure the best business is converted at the right time.


The Gig

To ensure a high level of repeat business for Mamaka, you will also focus on proactively targeting new and existing clients and strategically sourcing new business from them. You’re a natural hunter, driven by exceeding sales targets.

  • Key distribution strategy and execution- encompassing direct, online, GDS & group initiatives.
  • Daily and long-term revenue management in line with GDOS and on ground revenue team.
  • Accountable for securing and maintaining business across all market segments.
  • Team management & development – recruit, direct and lead Sales, Revenue/ Reservations and Event team to deliver set budgets and KPIs.
  • Lead key partnerships within the business objectives.
  • Participate in Tradeshows & external sales efforts along with the brand guidelines.
  • Support the Executive team and work closely with the marketing team.
  • Attend and participate in Management, Sales & Revenue meetings and identify key areas for driving further business across your hotel and wider brand of Ovolo hotels.
And you will have
  • You will have 3-4 years+ experience in a Hotel sales role or similar.
  • PMS and Delphi CRM experience essential .
  • Interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational skills & attention to detail a must.
  • AMAZING personality with a natural ability to build rapport and build great relationships .
  • This position is open to Indonesian nationals only.
