The GoMerchants team is looking for an experienced, data-driven Product Manager to lead our Merchant Fraud Risk stream. This stream primarily deals with products that help reduce payment transactions risk, merchant abuse risk as well as increase merchants trust and safety. With over 400,000 merchants on our platform and over 1 million daily payment transactions, this role should excite someone who wants to deal with scale as well as get a chance to build products from scratch. Responsibilities
Experience and Skills
- Deliver. You do more than talk - you put things on paper, get your hands dirty, and execute with precision make sure products and features are launched
- Be in the details. Know your team's work in depth - down to API names and contracts.
- Define clear and well-scoped requirements and usability documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive product strategy for your product area, partnering with your product development team and cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute on the prioritised roadmap.
- Partner with other team leads and company leadership to ensure that product OKRs and roadmaps are aligned
The GoMerchants team is a product-engineering team that is working to create an ecosystem of solutions to support merchants on the Gojek platform to better manage and grow their business. As one of the key stakeholders in the Gojek ecosystem, merchants are involved in various offerings such as food delivery, payment acceptance solutions (both online and offline), POS, SME financial services, deals and promotions. The job of the GoMerchants team is to understand the needs of the merchants and build platforms and interfaces (mobile apps, web apps) that will enable them to be successful on the Gojek platform.
- BEngg/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-5 years of product management experience.
- Successful track record in planning, developing and executing strategy for multiple projects while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Analytical and data-driven, you love digging into the data to understand what’s happening and define & measure success on every project.
- Prior experience in risk management/fraud tooling etc. will be a plus.
- Fluent in English and are a confident communicator.
- Experience as a software engineer / developer and working with distributed teams are highly desired
