Job SummaryWe are seeking a technically proficient, creative, and detail-oriented Live Streaming Operator to manage the technical aspects of our live commerce sessions. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless streaming, coordinate with the host and production team, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during live broadcasts. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality live commerce experiences that engage audiences and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor live streaming equipment and software during live commerce sessions.
- Ensure optimal video and audio quality throughout the broadcast.
- Proficiently use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) to manage and enhance live streams with creative overlays, transitions, and other visual elements.
- Coordinate with the host, production team, and marketing team to ensure smooth and timely execution of live sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise before or during live broadcasts.
- Manage and maintain all live streaming equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and streaming software.
- Test and optimize streaming setups to ensure compatibility with various platforms (e.g., Shopee Live, Lazada Live, TikTok Shop).
- Collaborate with the creative team to integrate graphics, overlays, and other visual elements into the live stream.
- Monitor live chat and audience engagement, providing technical support and ensuring a seamless experience for viewers.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in live streaming and implement improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the post-production process by organizing and archiving recorded sessions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in live streaming, video production, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency with live streaming software and equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and encoders.
- Strong proficiency in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and the ability to use it creatively to enhance live broadcasts.
- Creative mindset with the ability to integrate engaging visual elements into live streams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of live streaming platforms and their technical requirements (e.g., Shopee Live, Lazada Live, TikTok Shop).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with hosts and other team members.
- Flexibility to work during live session times, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and Indonesian languages.
