We are looking for a passionate and skilled undergraduate student with experience in Unity game development to join our team as an Ad-Hoc Unity Programmer. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects, develop engaging interactive applications, and enhance your programming skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create and implement game features using Unity.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C# scripts for gameplay mechanics, UI functionality, and other interactive features.
- Debug and optimize code for performance across multiple platforms (e.g., PC, mobile, or VR/AR).
- Assist in the integration of assets, animations, and sound effects into Unity projects.
- Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the quality of the projects.
- Maintain project documentation and version control using Git or other collaboration tools.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Unity and C# programming.
- Familiarity with game development concepts such as physics, animation, and user input handling.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Unity’s built-in tools such as the Animator, Timeline, and UI systems.
- Familiarity with AR/VR development or mobile platform optimization.
- Knowledge of shaders, particle systems, and graphics programming.
- Previous project or internship experience in game or app development.
