Deskripsi Lowongan Kerja Video Editor Jakarta TerbaruWe are seeking a creative Video Editor to create videos for our social media accounts. This is for a new platform that will be launching in the UK (this is remote role).
In this role, you will edit footage and shape the narrative of the videos you create. You will be responsible for transforming raw ideas into engaging Reels/TikToks and designing high-quality static assets that drive engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Ideation: Propose original concepts, scripts, and video series.
You will build lightweight content calendars and develop "hooks" that grab attention
instantly.-Video Post-Production: Edit dynamic, high-quality videos for Instagram Reels,
TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Expertise in trending audio, seamless transitions, and
pacing is essential.- Visual Design: Design aesthetic, on-brand social media posts, including static
images, carousels, and stories.- Data-Driven Optimization: Track key metrics (retention, watch time, engagement
rates) to analyze performance and propose corrective steps for future content.- Quality Assurance: Ensure all captions, text overlays, and copy are in impeccable
English, free of grammatical errors.Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in short-form video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci) and graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Language Skills: Native or bilingual proficiency in English with excellent written
communication skills.- Visual Storytelling: A strong eye for aesthetics, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret social media insights and adapt content
strategies accordingly.You will thrive in this role if you:
- Bring strong experience creating social-first videos, backed by a solid portfolio.
- Are not just an editor, but a creator who understands platform nuances (TikTok vs
Youtube vs Instagram).- Know exactly how to hook a viewer in the first 3–5 seconds.
- It's a bonus if you have motion graphics skills
